Simple Elegance & Joyful Moments: A Beautiful Fall Wedding
At Moments and Milestones, we truly love weddings that embrace a timeless vision, and this November celebration was the perfect example of how simple and elegant design can create an incredibly meaningful and beautiful day. With soft sage green tones paired with delicate pops of peach, every detail felt refined, romantic, and effortlessly cohesive.
A Morning Full of Sweet & Fun Moments:
The day began with the wedding party getting ready in their private suites, setting the tone for a relaxed and joyful morning. On the bride’s side, one of the most touching highlights was her sweet first look with her dad which was a quiet, emotional moment filled with happy tears and warm smiles. Meanwhile, the groom and his crew took a slightly different approach… kicking off the day with an energetic dance party while getting ready. Laughter, music, and excitement filled the suite which was the perfect start to a wedding day.
Ceremony Details: Soft, Romantic, and Thoughtful
The ceremony design perfectly captured the couple’s vision of understated elegance. Guests were greeted with programs as they entered and walked down an aisle lined with adorable sage green ribbon bows tied to each chair — a simple detail that made a big visual impact.
The terrace ceremony space featured:
Soft overhead draping
Large floral arrangements displayed on pillars framing the couple
Clean, romantic styling that highlighted the natural beauty of the setting
The bridal party looked stunning in various dress styles all in matching sage green, while the groomsmen wore classic gray suits. The groom stood out beautifully in his sharp black suit, adding a timeless touch.
Cocktail Hour: Personal & Playful Touches
Following the ceremony, guests transitioned to the patio and grand room for cocktail hour, where they were greeted by one of the most eye-catching displays — a black and white arch seating chart that blended perfectly with the elegant aesthetic. One of the most loved details? The couple’s custom cocktail napkins featuring their adorable pups, which brought a fun and personal touch to the space. Guests mingled and enjoyed cocktails before heading into the reception.
Reception Design: Simple, Elegant, and Cohesive
Inside the reception hall, the elegant design continued beautifully. Tables featured Ivory linens with black accents. Black napkins atop gold beaded chargers and white plates and simple floral arrangements that perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic. The wedding party sat together at a long farm table, where their bouquets added natural color to the greenery runner. The couple enjoyed a romantic sweetheart table accented with candles, greenery, and the bride’s bouquet displayed below (the bouquet was placed in the vase after the grand entrance so it is not pictured).
A Celebration Full of Energy & Personal Touches
From the moment the wedding party made their high-energy group entrance dancing into the reception, the tone for the night was set! After heartfelt toasts from loved ones, the couple shared a special private cake cutting in the library with close family before the real party began. Following the sweet parent dances, the dance floor officially opened and it stayed packed ALL NIGHT!
One of the most memorable moments was the creative garter toss: the garter was placed on a mini soccer ball, and the groom tossed it using his head which was a perfect nod to the couple’s story of meeting in college and sharing a love of soccer. Guests even enjoyed kicking around a soccer ball on the outdoor turf throughout the evening. The Photo Booth was also a fun way for the guests to take a short break from dancing, but continue to be in the space and have fun. The bride later changed into a fun beaded party dress, and the dance floor glowed with foam light sticks as the celebration continued.
A Perfect Ending
To close the night, the couple shared a private last dance, soaking in the final moments of their incredible day together. Guests gathered outside with light-up gold ribbon wands, creating a magical send-off as the couple ran through cheers and laughter before stepping into a beautiful antique car that carried them off to their after-party, and into their new life together.
