Hello Everyone!

I am Heather and the owner/lead coordinator. I started this venture after leaving a career in Healthcare Accounting & Operations, to be able to spend more quality time with my husband, son, and infant daughter; along with following my passion. While working in Healthcare, I assisted at The Plantation House from 2010, which is where I grew to LOVE weddings and helping couple enjoy their day to the fullest. I take pride in providing quality wedding/event coordinating and making sure everyone can have a stress free event. Plus I love making new friends and try to be a friend to you, rather than just your planner or coordinator.

Fun facts: My nickname is Norm, I cheered in College, & I make wine cork décor with my Etsy site Norms Nook (www.normsnookbyheather.etsy.com).

Besides weddings, I love to be creative, craft, and help others, so the idea of the Mama's Helper services were created to do just this! I know how working full-time can be so hard to balance from when I was working in healthcare. By the time I got home, all I wanted to do was relax and be "in the moment" with my family, rather than dealing with other factors of life, such as gifts for the special people in my life. That is why I created Mama Helper, so that you can now come home and not worry about those items.
